Mother’s Day at The Folly

Sunday 15 March 2026

There are few days in the calendar that feel as meaningful as Mother’s Day.

It’s not about rush or routine. It’s about a moment together. A table set with care. A pause from the everyday.

This year, join us at The Folly for a spring celebration by the river, where thoughtful food and relaxed elegance come naturally.

A La Carte Dining for Mother’s Day

For Mother’s Day, our kitchen will be serving our regular a la carte menu in the restaurant, River Room and Dining Domes. Expect refined, seasonal dishes made from the best ingredients; vibrant flavours, careful cooking, and the sort of food that feels special without being fussy.

Whether you choose something familiar or try something new, each plate is designed to be enjoyed at a comfortable pace, with time to talk and savour the moment beside the Thames.

Afternoon Tea - A Classic Celebration

Our afternoon tea service is also available on Mother’s Day, a lovely way to mark the day in a gentler style.

Served between 2:30pm and 3:30pm, it includes:

  • A selection of finger sandwiches

  • Warm homemade scones with clotted cream and jam

  • An assortment of pastries

  • Tea or coffee

There are also prosecco or champagne upgrade options for a touch of sparkle.

This tradition feels especially fitting for Mother’s Day, an elegant treat that’s relaxed and unhurried.

By the River

Whether you’re joining us for lunch, dinner, or afternoon tea, The Folly’s riverside setting does the rest of the work. Soft light, gentle views of the Thames, and space to breathe give every conversation room to unfurl.

When you choose The Folly for Mother’s Day, you’re choosing a place that feels like a proper occasion, without ever feeling stuffy or overly formal.
